Everybody know the history of Black people being called nappy head Negros came from white people. So I don’t know, for the life of me, why so many Black men wear their hair uncombed, nappy & uncut. What are they representing? I guess they’re representing how white supremacist groups expect to see our hair look. Nappy is how Asians, Indians & Middle Eastern’s expect to see Black people hair because their use to seeing Africans. Of course, Asians own beauty stores in many Black inner city communities so they think the only way Black people can get fine hair is by using hair texturizer . Most Asians, Latinos, Indians & whites also use hair products. But back to my point, I don’t understand what are Black men representing by not combing their hair. Look at so-called natural black hairstyles, the nappy uncombed look don’t look like they’re taking care of their scalp. White people can rock that hairstyle by not combing their hair, but they want, nobody will. Look at the natural look of dreadlocks, white people can rock dreadlocks, Asians, Latinos, Indians can rock that hair style so dreadlocks is not natural as black people make it appear. Let’s look at the taper fade cuts, white people, Latinos, Asians, Indians, Africans & Middle Eastern’s can rock a taper fade. Matter of fact they think their hair fade better. Let’s look at the hairstyle most Black men get when their losing their hair, or when their hair cannot curl-up, even with a texturizer, wave-up, even with du rag or when they hairline start receding, I’m talking about the bald head. The bald head is a look anybody can get. Period. Afro’s can be worn by some Hispanics & Italians. So let’s move on to the Brush Waves. The Brush Waves is a hair style nobody can rock but American Black people. Not even a lot of African’s can rock Brush Waves. White people cannot & will not ever rock Brush Waves, unless they’re biracial, Latinos, Indians, Asians & Middle Eastern’s can get a low taper & fade, but they can’t rock Brush Waves. Brush Waves is an American Black hairstyle that’s groomed & sported by only American Blacks. Now that’s natural. 🙂

Africans do not all have nappy hair for starters. Nappy hair is hair that is left uncombed. There is a difference between nappy and kinky and who cares what another race has to say out black people’s hair texture??
